World Kindness Day celebrations

Kindness is one of the highest achievements in life and essential quality associated with humanity. In nowadays competitive world kindness often takes a backseat. That's why it is even more important to spread awareness to people about practicing kindness. Last but not least, we should show love and empathy not only to human beings but also to animals and the environment around us.

Acts of kindness – what can you do on World Kindness Day

What can you do on World Kindness Day? How can you show kindness to others:

smile and be kind to people

compliment others truthfully

thank someone for the offered services

apologize for committing a mistake

help others around you

send an uplifting message to your loved ones

reach out to your loved ones you haven't spoken in awhile

go the extra mile every day to make someone smile

let someone merge into traffic with a smile

help your elderly neighbors with groceries

You can watch a lovely video about how to spread more kindness around you. After this day is over, you can always make kindness the norm in your everyday life as well.

Be kind to yourself as well

It has been scientifically proven that people who show less kindness in their behavior produce more stress hormones than the ones who do. The stress hormone cortisol decreases by 23% when people are in control of their emotions and display sweet gestures of kindness in their attitude. Other positive aspects of kindness are lower frustration, less anxiety, balanced blood pressure, and a healthy mind.
