When processing personal data, we are primarily guided by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (“GDPR”), which also regulates your rights as a data subject, the provisions of Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data, as amended, that apply to us (in particular Section 78), as well as other regulations.

Processing personal data is necessary for us in particular so that we can:

  • offer goods and provide services to our customers and business partners and carry out our business activities;
  • fulfill various legal and contractual obligations; and
  • protect the legitimate interests of ourselves, our customers, business partners and other individuals.

To whom do we disclose your personal data?

We disclose personal data of individuals only to the necessary extent and always while maintaining the confidentiality of the data recipient, e.g. to the entity entrusted with the management and processing of accounting, personnel and payroll agenda and to the providers of software equipment or support, including the employees of these persons, personal data may also be disclosed to third parties, including marketing service providers (e.g., Ecomail).

To which countries do we transfer your personal data?

We do not intend to transfer your personal data across borders to third countries outside the European Economic Area (EU, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein). Based on your consent, your personal data may be transferred to third countries within the nextporter group of companies, namely:

How long do we store your personal data?

We store personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed. When storing personal data, we are guided by the provisions of specific legal regulations (e.g. tax regulations, archives law). Personal data that we process based on your consent are processed for the period of the consent granted. In this case, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent granted before its withdrawal.

How do we obtain personal data about you?

We most often obtain your personal data from you when concluding a contractual relationship, the subject of which is the delivery of goods or the provision of our services within the scope of our business, or directly from you or your relatives when entering an employment relationship, or from other public or legal sources such as requests from public authorities, extracts from public registers, etc.

We do not perform automated decision-making when processing personal data. Based on your explicit consent granted in the so-called cookies bar, an anonymous analysis of website traffic is performed.

What rights do you have as a data subject?

If we process personal data about you based on your consent to the processing of personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Regardless, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data based on legitimate or public interest as well as for the purposes of direct marketing, including profiling.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Personal data protection is not a one-time issue for us. The information that we are obliged to provide regarding the processing of personal data may change or cease to be up to date. For this reason, we reserve the right to modify and change these terms and conditions to any extent at any time. In the event that these terms and conditions are changed significantly, we will bring this change to your attention, for example by a general notice on this website or by a special notice via email.
